Speech Therapy Services

Texas Hearing Institute's speech-language pathologists provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized speech therapy to help children develop their speech, language, and communication skills.

Our speech therapy services include:

  • Comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Individualized plans of care based on each child's needs.
  • Ongoing progress monitoring to track development and adjust therapy goals.
  • Speech therapy for children from birth through age 21.
  • In-person and virtual therapy sessions.

Comprehensive Speech and Language Evaluations

Quality speech and language care begins with a thorough evaluation. Our speech-language pathologists assess each child's communication skills to better understand their individual strengths and areas where additional support may be needed.

Following an evaluation, families receive recommendations to help guide an individualized plan of care. Progress is monitored throughout therapy to support each child's continued speech and language development.

Infant Hearing Testing

Early identification of hearing loss is important for a child's speech, language, and communication development. Texas Hearing Institute offers specialized infant hearing testing at our Tomball location to help families take the next steps in their child's hearing healthcare.

Services include:

  • Newborn Hearing Screening: Hearing screenings designed to identify infants who may need additional hearing evaluations.
  • Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Testing: A specialized hearing test that measures how an infant's hearing nerve and brainstem respond to sound, helping audiologists evaluate hearing in infants who cannot participate in traditional hearing tests.

Our team works with families to help them better understand their child's hearing and determine appropriate next steps following testing.
